Egg carton crafts are always a hit for preschool. They are so simple and inexpensive! This adorable Craft would go great with your next turtle lesson!
Egg Carton Turtle Craft Materials:
Large egg carton
Acrylic Paint (Color of choice)
Pom poms for the turtle heads
Googly eyes
Pipe cleaners for the turtle legs
Scissors
Utility knife
Hot glue gun (and glue sticks)
Instructions:
Step 1 – Cut out your desired amount of egg carton cups (we chose 6), then trim each cup so that they may lay flat against a surface.
Step 2 -Paint each individual egg carton cup a color of your choice and let the paint dry, then add details to the shell with a second accent color.
Step 3- Use hot glue to fix the pom pom ball to the “front” of the turtle.
Step 4 – Add googly eye and pipe cleaners for the legs using hot glue.
All Done!
These turtles are just so cute! It was fun to paint each of them a little bit different and the kids really enjoyed making them!
